![]() ![]() Total amount paid to British Airways for for 2 return flights, for 2 adults was 3548.28 Euro (3881.38 USD). If it was 3620 earned for entire journey, that would be a very cheap fare at $724 - if $3620 each way, would seem more likely to be correct.Outbound travel was on 29 October and inbound on 7 November. ![]() Is this award miles or million miler miles? - I have a recent ticket booked with BA where the award miles are correct, but the million miler miles are equal to the base miles (based on fare) and not distance flown.ĭate of booking doesn't matter, just date of travel, If travel was on or after 18 Oct, earning would be by fare ( even if booked on or before 17th Oct ) I have queried this with American Airlines who state that the miles are correct. When was the flight booked? (Before or after October 18th?) I wouldn't expect any miles from the DUB to LGW portion of trip as Aer Lingus is not One World partner, but surely I should have been awarded more than 3620 miles each for flying business class. This seems insanely low for a long haul 10 hour flight flown on business class. For each way I have only been awarded 3620 miles. Return journey was CUN to LGW on British Airways Club World business class and economy class on Aer Lingus from LGW to DUB. My flight ticketed from British Airways was DUB to LGW (economy on Aer Lingus) and Club World business class from LGW to CUN on British Airways. I recently flew long haul on a return ticket with Club World on British Airways, and requested any miles awarded be credited to my American Airines Advantage Account. ![]()
